When I first created my site, I used counters served remotely. As time went on these remote counters got busier and this had an adverse effect on the time my page took to load. So, a year after I first put a counter on my page, I decided to move over to locally based counters. I have therefore put my original counters on this page. Remember why I took them off the original pages and don't complain if you're sat looking at an incomplete page for yonks!
These counters will now increment each time this page is loaded, so to keep track, I've noted what they read when I moved them over.
