I enjoy computer comms and have been using email for many years. A few of years ago I was using many bulletin boards, but the internet has really been like a magnet to me as it has many other people. I run a number of web sites. Most of them are here. I am also the webmaster for Christian Computer Art. I have an interest in computer graphics, but it doesn't mean I'm any good at it! |

I am a cornet player. I spent many years playing with The Salvation Army. I have recently been principal cornet with Castle Point Brass Band and now play with Rayleigh Brass. My Brass Band pages. |

I've been trained in radio skills by the BBC. I used to occasionally help out with my local station on a programme called "Sunday Supplement". I am trained to use the Mk 3 desk and hold a permit to operate a masted vehicle (that's the one with 40 feet of transmitter mast coming out of the roof). I've done continuity announcing, recorded reports and even produced programmes for the BBC but never had the opportunity to present a live programme. I have driven the desk live on air, though. Outside of the BBC I have presented live programmes on charity stations. |
I've taken the following record from my guest book. What a cheek this guy has putting something like this in guestbook. But let me tell you - this site is so good, I didn't want to lose it when the guestbook entry expires. Anyone who thinks web pages are just for showing text and graphics should visit Allan's site and find out how it shoudl be done. Allan knows every trick in the book - and uses them all. Make sure you call during cheap rate; you'll be there a long time!
